Carpet Work Order PDF Print E-mail

MCS Carpet Cleaning Work Order for new or existing carpet           

Materials

·   Virgin carpet shampooer. (NO RESIDUE of other cleaning chemicals) If unable to rent or buy then use a handheld scrub brush and a sponge for cleaning.

·    large industrial fan or several box fans.

·     lawn and garden tank sprayer (Can be purchased at a Lowes or other lawn and garden outlets).

·    one gallon (for 300sq feet) of AMF Safe Choice Carpet Shampoo.

·    one gallon (for 300sq feet) of AMF Safe Choice Carpet Seal.

·     one gallon (for 30sq feet) of AMF Safe Choice Lock Out.   

Procedure

1. SEAL the back of a dry carpet with CARPET SEAL. With a hand held pump sprayer apply in a mist on the carpet back. DO NOT saturate the carpet. Once completed allow fan(s) to dry. CURE TIME: 4-6 hours.

2. Once dry, flip carpet over and proceed to vacuum carpet.

3. Apply shampoo to the carpet with either the shampooer or the hand held scrub brush, apply in circular motion until carpet is completely shampooed. If using a shampooer continue to step 5.

4. Wipe down the carpet with HOT water (to wash it), DO NOT saturate.

5. Wipe carpet with a towel and allow fan(s) to dry.

6. IMPORTANT carpet MUST be completely dry before continuing with next step. Once completely dry you are ready to apply LOCK OUT to carpet.

7. First flush hand held pump sprayer with hot water before filling with LOCKOUT. Then apply in a mist on carpet. (Refer to step 1). AGAIN DO NOT SATURATE THE CARPET.

8. USE scrub brush to massage LOCK OUT into carpet. Allow fan(s) to dry, total cure time 24 hours.
